Let’s start a conversation.
Are you a university, a college, a local authority, or maybe a funder or a business interested in making a difference in young people’s lives? We’d love to start a conversation with you.
Grit doesn’t see its partners as simply organisations to ‘deliver to’ - our partners are working alongside us, co-designing the best structures and approaches for our workshops to create value. The relationship we strike up with those who work closely with us is at the heart of how we operate.
We love learning together how to keep doing things better.
We create forums for our partners to talk to us (and each other) about the challenges and successes of delivering on transformation. The Grit network is one of learning, collaborating, challenging and sharing.
And it’s not just about our programmes, we work with businesses who provide volunteers, donate space or pro-bono expertise, these are often organisations that are open to learning too and are keen join our round-table discussion events.
As with many things at Grit, it all starts with a conversation.
“In Grit I see the passion, the commitment, a can-do mindset coupled with huge expertise. And this is critical for us at Octopus. We’ve got around 1000 members of staff with a massive range of skills so we want to support charities where our money AND our expertise can make a real difference.”
Simon Rogerson, CEO Octopus Group
“With Grit there is an open-mindedness. They do a lot of listening and asking questions that enable you to get to the core of what it is you want to achieve with young people. You know Grit will start from where you are starting from, understand what you need and where you want to go. It’s a journey that you are the centre of, one on which you and all the people you bring with you, are going get what it is you individually need.”
